After taking a several year break from having a speed
team the owners of the Christiana Skating Center, Beth
Nolan and Cort Wahlig, agreed to let us start up a new
inline speed team. This is the rinks first inline speed
team keeping the spirit of speed skating going from the
quad days. Our team is named in honor of the late
Charles Wahlig, who everyone in the skating world knows
was an ambassador to the sport of roller skating.
Our coaching staff is comprised of several people:
Danny Roberts, Jim Weiderhold, Jason Pressley and Lenny
Morgan. This is our inaugural year and we are proud to
have our first year skaters on our team. Currently our
practice times are:
Sunday mornings 7:45am to 10:45am
Wednesdays - Call Danny or Lenny for practice times

information. We welcome all levels of skaters to our
practices, young to not so young, girls-ladies,
boys-men. The floor size is 185 X 85 and the rink has
more than adequate room for everyone!!
