Ray Stitt D.O.B. 7-19-1966 Favorite races: Skating outdoors Eastern Seaboard Series 10K. NYC “100K” 42K race Goals: To be fast enough to place at Indoor Nationals. Best experience: In 2007 completing my first 42K race in NYC Prospect Park. In 2009 completing my 3rd 42K race with Michael Hart. Worst experience: Breaking a rib and not being able to skate. Other interests: Watching NHL hockey, Playing with the kids, Pretty much any kind of music. I love to work and play on computers. I teach CPR/AED/First Aid for the American Heart Assoc. I currently hold an EMT certification and state evaluator. I was in the U.S.M.C.R. from 1984-1992. Communication Center Operator, Cpl. I think that the sport of Inline Speed Skating is more than, going fast and turning left. It is a matter of helping out other skaters and watching them attain their goals.
