Favorite races: Skating outdoors Eastern Seaboard Series 10K.

NYC “100K” 42K race

Goals: To be fast enough to place at Indoor Nationals.

Best experience: In 2007 completing my first 42K race in NYC Prospect Park.

In 2009 completing my 3rd 42K race with Michael Hart.

Worst experience: Breaking a rib and not being able to skate.

Other interests: Watching NHL hockey, Playing with the kids, Pretty much any kind of music.

I love to work and play on computers. I teach CPR/AED/First Aid for the American Heart Assoc. I currently hold an EMT certification and state evaluator.

I was in the U.S.M.C.R. from 1984-1992. Communication Center Operator, Cpl.

I think that the sport of Inline Speed Skating is more than, going fast and turning left.   It is a matter of helping out other skaters and watching them attain their goals.   I feel it is always nice to win but to watch other teammates win to me is what makes it all the more exciting. J
